***State Owned Certificate Sale***
The State Owned tax certificate sale offers all certificates not sold or offered at auction for public purchase. The unsold certificates carry a 16% interest rate per Arizona Statute. All certificates are sold on a first come, first served basis.
Once logged in, enter your bank information. (Click on "Provide Bank Information" in the menu to the left). When you choose the certificate you want and press the "Buy Now" button, after confirming your purchase, an ACH request is sent in the amount of the face value of the certificate. That certificate is now yours pending the successful transfer of funds. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to research properties prior to purchasing certificates. All purchases are final.
Certificates are now processed electronically at the Treasurer's office, so paper certificates are no longer issued. Certificates that are purchased and not paid for can result in the Treasurer banning the purchaser from participating in any further State Owned sales.
